Baby Flash Cards - Can They Make My Infant Brighter? How can we use baby flash cards?
Some mothers may ask why put in all that effort during the first few years of your toddler's life? Are babies are merely repeating sounds without taking in meanings? Research shows that infant's as early as four months old are able to learn simple mathematics, new languages and comprehend written words.
The advantages of helping your child before they reach the formal years of schooling are enormous. Your child will have more confidence in the classroom compared to their classmates and will have a positive base for further learning.

The most effective way to educate a infant's brain is through using baby flash cards. Maths in particular has been an excellent subject area for infants to use and make great progress. Baby flash card learning allows babies to use their right-brain to identify the number of dots on a page, rather than counting them.

Do toddlers like flash cards?
A toddler will enjoy learning as they are naturally absorbed about the world around them. Your role as a parent and teacher is to make the learning session engaging. Use encouragement for your toddler, and the most important - speaking alongside with your child as the flash cards play. There is no need to have fixed time constraints for helping. Be patient with your infant and allow them to learn and develop at their own pace, as baby flash cards are supposed to be a engaging activity. Do not be discouraged if you show the flash cards to your toddler and there is no initial progress, continue using flash cards on a daily basis as your toddler is naturally interested in and will absord the information.

When you show them visual cues with flash cards, the right-brain will be absorbing the information subconsciously for later reference. The right brain uses an intuitive memory, which is more active in a child and easier to trigger than in adults, who later become dominated by their left-brains. Our own use of flash cards has shown toddlers (18 months to 2 years) counting or identifying the differences between 98 and 99 dots on a single page in a few seconds.

Left-brain dominance results in linear, logical thoughts, and recall is correlated to the degree of repetition and 'rote' learning associated with a concept or set of facts. So problem solving can be achieved but is based on what has been methodically repeated and consciously classified as 'important'. This rote style learning is difficult in young children, which is why people assume early education is not feasible.

How often should I play flash cards with my baby?
The optimal amount of time to practice flashcard learning is three times a day, on a daily basis with your baby. If you miss on that day, then it's OK to continue the next day as intermittent exposure is better than none at all. Treat it as a normal play time or interaction, and not a special exception. The advantage of using baby DVDs is that it provides structured sequencing of the flashcards, you can then sit with your toddler(and not opposite them) and speak and repeat each card as it is shown. Progress your infant to using child flash cards as a natural step, reinforcing structured teaching in a non-stressful way. It opens up the child to learning foreign languages and sciences, where retention of formula and phrases are important components to developing competency. Children learn words contextually, meaning they learn by association of the sound, and action or object, with emphasis provided by parents. The most important thing to remember is to have fun with your toddler and see them grow into a confident and happy child when they are ready for formal schooling.

Cool newborn baby clothes for a Boy♥?
    Hi Girls..♥

    Today I found out I'm having a baby boy & I'm so happy :)

I'm pretty bored atm, and looking on the internet for baby boy baby stuff(now I know the sex!) and I was just wondering where I can find really funky/multicolored cool clothes for a baby boy?

Or do you know of any really cool baby boutiques? Has to be in the UK though :)

    Thank youuuu♥

    • ANSWER:
      Ohhh, congratulations! :-)

We have a boy too, and although I was over the moon, I was a little bit disappointed that I wouldn't be able to shop for all the gorgeous baby girl clothes that my friend dresses her three girls in. But there are a LOT of very, very cute boy clothes.

We usually buy ours from George at Asda or at Tesco because the clothes there are a lot cheaper than other places, but if we're buying something special then we love to browse around in the Pumpkin Patch, or Monsoon, or Baby Gap hs as some gorgeous stuff. Mamas and Papas is great too. Ohh, and I didn't realise for a while, but H&M have a good baby range. Loads of very bright, colourful clothes there, and it's not too dear.

      Have lots of fun!

  5. QUESTION:
Boys baby boutique? Wanting to know the steps of opening up a boutique?
Now please do not slay me I am just starting to do some research but I love yahoo real answers, so I wanted to here from you guys. This so far is an idea, I have this reoccuring dream of my owning my little baby store but dedicated to boys. I guess maybe because I am tired of going to clothing stores and there is a whole section for girls and then a little tiny section for boys and I still can't find anything. I was thinking of having a store where it sold a range of styles that mothers would like to dress there son. Preppy, punk, urban, etc. I hate having to travel from one side of town to the other just to find what I am looking for my kid, and I wonder if I am the only mom with these issues for her son. I would include othe misc. stuff like pumps, and cool strollers etc. Anywho as I said it was an idea and I dont even have a clue or the finances to know where to start. Any help? Do i opt for a business loan? Is it hard to aquire one? Do I need a business license? lol or should I just stop while I am it because it is just not going to happen? I live in Atlanta so I figured this is a good location.

    • ANSWER:
We all have to have dreams. Once in a blue moon, there really is a good answer on yahoo. You need an education. Why don't you talk to some small business owners in your area. People that you may have met or done business with in the past. It could be a bakery, a jeweler, any business besides a baby boutique. Many of the costs and problems are similar with all businesses. There are a million things to consider, that you or I can't even imagine. This would be a good start. Take one of these people out for lunch, make sure that you treat. It will be the cheapest education that you ever bought. Good Luck!
