Conceiving Baby Boy With Boy Diet
Conceive baby boy by changing your diet before you conceive, and maintaining a certain kind of diet during your pregnancy!
Sounds like one of those outlandish old wives' tales?
Not quite!
Scientists now seem to agree that there is a possible link between what you eat and which gender youll conceive.
Pregnant women on high calorie diet are more likely to have a baby boy!
Also, eating food rich in nutrients such as potassium and calcium, and vitamins C, D and B12 seems to upper your chance of conceiving a baby boy!
Where those conclusions came from? Actually, its from a new research done at the universities of Exeter and Oxford. The scientists examined the diets of a large number of first-time mothers and found that those who ate a higher number of calories were more likely to conceive with a boy!
Among women with the highest calorie intake before pregnancy - 56 percent had boys.
Women who had boys also ate an additional 300 mg of potassium daily!
Dont you have an urge now to go and eat a banana?:)
It has been speculated for the last 30 years in the scientistic world that the diet of a mother could predict the gender of a baby. There has been enough evidence that diet in mammals can affect the sex of their offspring. Namely, a lot of mammals when well fed produce more boys, while in starvation situation there are more girls than boys being born.
Seems like there are more nutrients needed to conceive a boy rather than a girl In any case: now you have one more reason not to skip breakfast!:) Especially when you hear this next piece of statistics:
Eat at least one bowl of breakfast cereal daily and you will have a 87 percent more chance that youll conceive a baby boy!
So, treat yourself with an additional serving of steak with potatoes and have a piece of cake:)
But dont overdo it! Never forget that proper nutrition is essentially important for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.
Whatever gender that baby will be!

QUESTION:
why are there really never any infant boys clothes in departments stores?
i mean like the church clothes and holiday clothes. i only see girl clothes-
ANSWER:
It really depends on where you are shopping - Target and Walmart are good for play clothes . . . but I can usually find Church clothes/ holiday clothes at places like Kohls, Childrens Place and Baby Gap. There are still more girl's stuff than boys . . . but you can find it if you look.

QUESTION:
Why aren't there more 'little man' clothes for infant boys?
We are expecting our first child, a boy, any moment now (1 week 2 days overdue here!). I keep fussing with his room, looking at all of his clothes, walking through the mall looking at more clothes, you know just playing the waiting game. I have noticed that all of the little girl clothes are gorgeous, and basically just little versions of grown up clothes. Then, you go to the, depressingly small, boys section and all they have are stupid outfits with fish, monsters, cars, or sports stuff all over them! Also, why don't they make jeans for infant boys? Seriously, I have found 3 pairs of jeans for boys under 12 months. I only bought one of them because the other ones were a pair!! I can buy ME a pair of jeans for , I couldn't believe it!?!?! Hubby and I aren't into sports, or having every shirt our son wears declaring something stupid that means nothing. Why is it so hard to dress your little boy like daddy? What is wrong with a pair of jeans, a solid color onesie, and a nice little mock turtleneck collar zip-up? I would LOVE to find a 12 pack of solid color onesies, but alas I have yet to do so...Does anyone know where you can find a good selection of 'little man' clothes at reasonable prices? (I live in the Metro-Detroit area if that helps, but I am into on-line shopping as well) I really am not into the idea of spending on a pair of jeans he will only be able to wear for a couple of months...
Thanks!
Tracey - I totally didn't take the seasons into account! Thank you for that, *lol*.Also, when I say 'jeans' I mean a denim pant, or at least one the LOOKS denim. And I am FULLY aware that comfort will be the #1 prioity. While we are at home I really won't care if he is just in a diaper, however I do want some nice things for when we go out, I do not think that is unreasonable!
Oh, and why have a lot of you assumed I am talking about only newborn clothes? I am thinking a few months out here...we have enough newborn stuff, and actually almost NO pants for him as a newborn, who would want elastic on their trying-to-heal-bellybutton?-
ANSWER:
i totally know what you mean!my son is 2 1/2 and i remember when i was pregnant with him getting so frustrated with the lack of selection in the boy section. you look across the way and there are racks and racks of adorable little girl clothes! so annoying. it doesnt get better as they get older either.
i do manage to find cute stuff at jc penny's, target, carter's, babies r us, old navy, and sometimes at walmart.
ive never had a problem with finding jeans. walmart has the cheapest ones. usually - a pair. the most ive spent is on a pair of jeans, that was at a carter's store.
check out the stores ive mentioned.
im glad you want to actually dress your child and not just let him run around in a onesie or just a diaper all day.

QUESTION:
DOes anyone know how much Once Upon A Child pays for infant boys clothing?-
ANSWER:
LOL... I searched the forum earlier today for this exact same question!! Weird.
The responses I read were 30 cents an item..... NOT worth it, if you ask me!
What I usually do is get a huge lot of clothes and either sell it on ebay or sell it on a local classifieds site like kijiji.com or craigslist.com.
Try that, instead.... more money in the long run.

QUESTION:
Why is everything about infant girls?
I have a infant boy and I can not find any decent clothes for him, but when I look in search engines it shows up nice infant girl clothing sites and everything for little boys is tacky. Even when I go to places like children's place and old navy the girls clothing is very bright and vibrant whereas the boy clothing is dull and like ugly colors like mustard and dull blues. Its so unfair I love my baby and would love to dress him in stylish clothes but I have no idea where to look. please help. And please no rude comments.-
ANSWER:
I have said this a thousand times! I'm looking for a holiday outfit for pictures now and all I can find are pretty dresses! It is not fair!
I usually buy baby gap for him. Their sizes fit him better too.
